Summer creative activities for children 18+ months

In this article we bring you some ideas on summer creative activities for children aged 18+months. These are our tried-and-tested activities that will put a smile on your child’s face.

1. Abstract painting

The first of our summer creative activities is abstract painting.

Material: Hard paper, adhesive ancient Greek patterns- 5 pieces, pink, purple, yellow and red acrylic paints, paint brush, pallete, adhesive Tape

Directions: Paste the prepared ancient Greek patterns – 5 pieces on the hard paper. We fixed it on the desk with adhesive tape to keep it from moving when painting. For painting we used fresh summer colors violet, yellow, pink, red, however you can choose the colors you like. After the paint has dried, the ancient Greek patterns and adhesive tape are carefully removed.

2. Firebird

No. 2 of our summer creative activities is a firebird

Material: hard paper, green, yellow, brown, violet acrylic paint, cut out template of 3 birds, brush, palette, adhesive tape

Directions: On a clean hard paper, stick already prepared cut out template 3 of birds with adhesive tape. Fix the prepared hard paper on the desk with adhesive tape to prevent movement. We used green, yellow, brown and purple acrylic paint for coloring. But you can choose the colors you like. Once the paint has dried carefully remove the template and peel everything off the desk.

3. Ice hearts

The third of our summer creative activities are ice hearts.

Material: ice form – heart shape, palette, paints, brush

Directions: Fresh n’ cool summer activity that will entertain both the young and old. The great fun the child experiences when painting on ice is amazing. First of all, you have to freeze the ice form first. We have chosen the form of hearts. You have a variety of interesting shapes to choose from so the choice is yours. After that take out the frozen hearts. Playing with ice alone is extreme fun for kids. Observation and learning something new, cold and melting. When we add painting, excitement of the children is guaranteed, until the ice melts, of course J.

7. Voyage to the unknown

The next of our summer creative activities is voyage to the unknown.

Material: cardboard, markers, paints, wood skewers, polystyrene rectangle, scissors, paint brush, palette, glue

Directions: Cut the sail of the sailboat off cardboard. Measure and cut out a triangle, height of about 20 cm, which we will fold and cut in the middle and then use one half for the ship’s sail. Next we’ll need a fitting rectangle of polystyrene, about 12 cm long so that the boat doesn’t turn over. Decorate the cardboard sail, for example by painting. Break the wood skewers to halves and apply glue on both ends. One end is placed in the middle of a polystyrene rectangle and the other is glued to the inside of a cardboard sail, about 2 cm from the top.

8. Heart

No. 8 of our summer creative activities is a heart.

Material: colored paper, marker, stamps, scissors, cutters

Directions: Cut out a heart off the color paper, about 15 cm in size. Make a variety of ornaments in it using cutters. There are no limits for creativeness, nor are for the minors so let them decorate the heart themselves.

9. Paper Flowers

The ninth of our summer creative activities paper flowers.

Material: paper cups, wood skewers, scissors, paint brush, palette, glue

Directions: Flatten the paper cups. For one flower we need 2 pieces of paper cups, different colors. You can either cut the cups keeping the center or just leave them flat. Put the glue on the wood skewer and stick it on one of the cups from the inside and press the other onto it from the opposite side. Let it dry.

10. Ice eggs

No. 10 of our summer creative activities are ice eggs.

We bring you something new, refreshing and fascinating in our last activity.

Material: balloons, rubber animals, water

Directions: Put one rubber animal into one balloon and fill it with water. Tie it up and let it freeze. Take it out of the freezer after about 30 minutes. Remove the balloon and watch the melting process.

Letné tvorivé aktivity od 18 mesiacov

V tomto článku Vám prinesieme zopár nápadov na tvorivé aktivity pre deti od 18 mesiacov.  Sú to nami vyskúšané aktivity, ktoré Vášmu dieťatku vyčaria úsmev na tvári.

1. Abstraktné maľovanie

Materiál: výkres, nalepovacie egyptské vzory- 5 ks, ružová, fialová, žltá, červená akrylová farba, štetec, paleta, lepiaca páska

Postup: Na čistý výkres si nalepíme pripravené egyptské vzory – 5 ks. Takto pripravený výkres sme si prichytili o stôl lepiacou páskou, aby sa nám pri maľovaní nehýbal. Na maľovanie sme použili svieže letné farby fialovú, žltú, ružovú, červenú. Bez problémov si ale zvoľte farby aké sa Vám páčia. Po zaschnutí farieb sa opatrne odstránia z výkresu egyptské vzory a lepiaca páska, ktorá nám pridržiavala výkres.

2. Ohnivý vták

Materiál: výkres, zelená, žltá, hnedá, fialová akrylová farba, vystrihnutá šablóna 3 vtákov, štetec, paleta, lepiaca páska

Postup: Na čistý výkres si nalepíme lepiacou páskou už dopredu pripravenú vystrihnutú šablónu 3 vtákov. Takto pripravený výkres si upevníme lepiacou páskou o stôl, aby sme zabránili pohybu. Na vyfarbenie sme použili zelenú, žltú, hnedú a fialovú akrylovú farbu. Ale bez problémov si zvoľte farby aké sa Vám páčia. Po zaschnutí farieb sa opatrne odstráni šablóna z výkresu a odlepí zo stola.

3. Ľadové srdiečka

Materiál: forma na ľad – tvar srdiečok, paleta, farby, štetec

Postup: Svieža super letná aktivita, ktorá zabaví malých aj veľkých. Tá skvelá zábava, ktorú zažije dieťa pri maľovaní ľadu je úžasná. V prvom rade si treba dať dopredu zamraziť formu na ľad. My sme si zvolili formu ľadových srdiečok. Na výber máte množstvo zaujímavých tvarov foriem na ľad. Výber je na Vás. Po zamrznutí vody vo forme na ľad, vyberieme zamrznuté srdiečka. Už samotné hranie sa s ľadom je pre deti veľmi zábavné. Pozorovanie a spoznávanie niečoho nového, studeného a topiaceho. Keď do toho pridáme ešte maľovanie, majú vaše deti o zábavu postarané, kým sa ľad neroztopí.

4. Včielka a lienka

Pri väčšom trávení času vonku sa stretávame, a hlavne v lete, s lienkami a včielkami. Preto sme sa rozhodli si nejaké vyrobiť.

Určite sa na ňu pozrite a zabavte sa pri tvorení so svojimi ratolesťami.

7. Loď do neznáma

Materiál: kartón, fixky, farby, špajdľa, polystyrénový obdĺžnik, nožnice, štetec, paleta, lepidlo

Postup: Najskôr si z kartónu vystrihneme plachetnicu na loď. Z kartónu si vymeriame a vystrihneme trojuholník, výška cca 20 cm, ktorý prestrihneme na polovicu. Tú jednu polovicu použijeme na plachetnicu lode. Z polystyrénu potrebujeme primeraný obdĺžnik, asi cca 12 cm dlhý, aby sa nám loďka neprevrátila. Kartónovú plachetnicu si vyfarbíme, vyzdobíme. Špajdľu si skrátime na polovicu dĺžky a na oba konce nanesieme lepidlo. Jeden koniec dáme do stredu polystyrénového obdĺžnika a druhý nalepíme do vnútra kartónovej plachetnice, asi 2 cm od okraja.

8. Srdce z papiera

Materiál: farebný papier, fixky, pečiatky, vykrajovátka, nožnice

Postup:  Z farebného papiera si vystrihneme srdce, cca 15 cm veľké. Vyrezávatkami si po ňom vytvoríme rôzne ornamenty. Kreativite sa medze nekladú, ani malkáčom a necháme ich vyzdobiť si srdiečko sami.

9. Papierové kvetinky

Materiál: papierové košíčky, špajdla, nožnice, štetec, paleta, lepidlo

Postup: Papierové košíčky si vystrieme. Na jednu kvetinku potrebujeme 2 ks papierových košíčkov rôznej farby. Košíčky si buď rozstriháme, tak aby nám stred ostal celý, alebo ich necháme len tak vystreté. Na špajdlu nanesieme lepidlo a nalepíme na jeden košíček z vnútornej strany a druhý vystretý košíček pritlačíme opačne. Necháme zaschnúť.

10. Ľadové vajíčka

Niečo nové, osviežujúce a zaujímavé Vám prinášame v našej poslednej aktivite.

Materiál: balóny, gumené zvieratká, vodu

Postup: Do jedného balóna vložíme jedno malé gumené zvieratko. Napustíme vodu. Zaviažeme a dáme zamrznúť. Asi po hodinke vyberieme. Odstránime balón a sledujeme proces topenia.
